Taipei MRT covers most areas of Taipei and it is a easy wayof getting around the city.
Single-Journey Ticket


Purchase at ticket vending machines.
Usage: Place tickets over the sensor area. The token is collected at the gate when arriving your destination.
Price: Subject to the distance you travel. The price is listed in front of every ticket vending machine.
One-Day Pass

Available at all metro station information counters. One-Day Pass is valid for unlimited Taipei Metro rides from first use until the end of service in a single day.
Usage: Place tickets over the sensor area.
Price: 150 NTD(16-18 AED)
24hr Taipei Metro Pass

Available at all metro station information counters. The ticket is valid for unlimited travel on the Taipei Metro within 24 hours from the first use.
Usage: Place tickets over the sensor area.
Price: 180 NTD(20-23 AED)
Easy Card

Available in convenient stores( 7-11, Familymart, OK and Hi-Life) and metro station information counters.
Usage: Place tickets over the sensor area.
Price: 100 NTD(11-13 AED) 20%off for every single ride.

Taipei Pass


Available at metro station information counters.
Usage:The Taipei Pass allows for unlimited rideson the Taipei Metro system and associated bus services in Taipei City and New Taipei City during the period of its validity. Users are required to tap the card over the asyCard sensor area on fare gates in Taipei MRT stations and on buses (buses that accept the card will display a Taipei Pass identification sticker).The Maokong Gondola 1-Day Pass is valid for unlimited trips on the Maokong Gondola.
